Artist Statement:
Through the world of engineering, I discovered the language of art. As an
engineer, I traveled extensively, working all over the world. I was
passionate about investigating artworks wherever I traveled. Before long I
became passionate about making art as well. In 2006 I resigned from my
engineering profession to begin a fulltime art practice. I endeavor to make
interactive works that engage the viewer with a sense of play and
introspection. My work privileges quality of construction and a bit of
gee-whiz technology as a platform to investigate the relationship between
technology and perception.
